The Felt Café 8 Deluxe Hybrid Bike - Mens is built around a straightforward premise: most city riding doesn't require a performance machine, but it does require a reliable one. The morning commute, the Saturday errand run, the occasional longer loop through the park — these are the rides the Café 8 Deluxe was designed for. Felt has shaped the geometry to keep you upright and comfortable over distance, so your back isn't the thing that decides when the ride ends.

What separates a well-considered urban bike from a forgettable one is usually the details you don't notice when things are going right — until they go wrong. The aluminium frame keeps the overall weight manageable without sacrificing the structural integrity that daily use demands. The geometry sits in the practical middle ground between a rigid road position and a couch-like cruiser slouch: relaxed enough to take the edge off a potholed commute, responsive enough that you're not fighting the bike through traffic. It's a hybrid in the genuine sense — adaptable to both the practical and the recreational without being compromised at either end.

The men's Café 8 Deluxe comes in a single green finish with a 17" frame size. That mid-range sizing suits a wide spread of riders and makes this an accessible starting point for anyone returning to cycling after a break, or for a commuter who wants something dependable without the maintenance overhead of a more technically complex drivetrain. There's no adjustment period. You get on, find your position, and ride.

Design Benefits

  1. Upright Geometry for Real-World Commuting: The Café 8 Deluxe positions you high enough to see over traffic and comfortable enough to sustain that position through a full commute. It's a geometry choice that prioritises long-term comfort over short-term speed — the right trade-off for a bike that's being ridden five days a week.
  2. Aluminium Frame — Light Enough to Matter: An aluminium build keeps the Café 8 Deluxe from becoming a chore to manoeuvre — whether that's lifting it up a kerb, navigating a tight office corridor, or hauling it up a flight of stairs. It's the kind of weight saving that compounds across every ride, not just the ones where you're paying attention.
  3. Hybrid Versatility Without the Compromise: A good hybrid doesn't ask you to choose between capability and comfort. The Café 8 Deluxe is designed to handle the surface changes and stop-start rhythm of urban riding while remaining capable enough for a longer recreational loop when the weekend opens up. It doesn't need to be one thing or the other.
  4. Accessible Sizing in a Practical Finish: The 17" frame targets a broad range of rider heights, reducing the guesswork for anyone new to buying a bike or returning after a gap. The green finish is understated — visible enough to be seen in traffic, restrained enough not to look out of place locked outside a café.

Final Take

The Felt Café 8 Deluxe is for the rider who wants a dependable urban bike — one that handles the daily commute, the weekend ride, and whatever falls in between without asking much in return. It suits the returning cyclist, the practical commuter, and anyone who wants to get back on a bike without overcomplicating the decision. Felt has been building bikes long enough to know what matters at this end of the market, and the Café 8 Deluxe reflects that judgement.

Fluffy and Nice Omegaverse
Format: Kindle
… this would have made 5 stars but for 2 reasons. A.) there were quite a few typos; misspelled words, missing quotations, “the his” mistakes, and various signs that maybe a proofread would do good. B.) the writing was quite textbook. Late blooming omega is struggling with her new self, finds a absurdly wealthy pack of alphas, every thing is almost insta-love but she resists, then decides to love herself and let everyone be happy. Rian was my favourite (obviously the author’s favourite too because he got the most page time) but I wish we could see more of his CEO side? He went to work maybe ONCE the entire time. Gray was supposed to be the “growly one” but he turned out to be puppy dog. Lucas was a genius brainiac doctor - but also super alpha with an aggressive hindbrain with a breeding k*nk?? And then there was no actual “breeding”?? Spice 3/5 - normally omegaverse books are super high on messy smut but this was tamer. Romance 3/5 - insta-love that was then resisted because of personal hangup’s Plot 2/5 - weird paced head hopping, showing the same scene from different POV’s that made me feel like it was 2 steps backward, 1 step forward. Humour 4/5 - there were a dozen lines that genuinely made me chuckle out loud Would have been five stars but the lack of proofreading and the predictable plot made me unable to get up to ADORED IT level - four stars is still and official ENJOYED IT, y’all. This isn’t a bad rating. The “Club Heat” has intriguing possibilities so I’m going to give the second one a shot.

Fantastic writing and non-stop action
Format: Kindle
This is a promising, fantastic beginning to what will be a 4-book series. Some readers may be content to read only the first 2 books, but I think you'll find that the story is so good that you'll want to keep reading books 3 and 4. Book 1 is about omega Elvana's introduction to the "Starling" brothers and their search for another missing person, Kelly. It's a bit of a rocky start, with deception and betrayal a key element. Hardly an auspicious beginning. Each member has their own path and purpose in the pack. Their interactions and the resulting narrative are so well-written that I found it difficult to put down. There is a cliffhanger that will have you reaching for book 2 as you finish, so make sure you have it on hand.

Fun read
Format: Kindle
I'm not really into mafia books but I love Roxy Collin's other series so I decided to give it a try. It had the same great romance, spice, swoon-worthy characters and exciting plot that are her signature. Arben was my favorite, although it was a bit sudden how quickly he changed from ignoring her to wanting to be pack. There were almost too many twists/layers of lies to keep track of but I'm looking forward to reading the other books. The only thing that detracted from the story for me was the need for a bit more proofreading. It was mentioned that Kelly is a female and male at different points, leading me to think she changed her mind at some point about the character's gender but didn't go back and edit it to align in all places. Like another reviewer pointed out, step siblings are different than half siblings. They are incorrectly referred to as step siblings because they (allegedly) share the same biological dad. There are a few other typos as well but those aren't a big deal.

Stepbrothers, Secrets, and Sizzling Heat
Format: Kindle
Twisted Lies by Roxy Collins is a wild ride through family secrets, amnesia, and a steamy stepbrother romance. When Kelly discovers her life is built on lies, she ends up tangled with three alpha stepbrothers and an assassin who once helped her through a heat. The tension? Off the charts! The heat is real, and the complications are messy in the best way. Full of twists, secrets, and fated mates? You'll be hooked from page one! Love omegaverse drama with a dash of taboo? This one's for you!

Good read
Format: Kindle
The book has some good twists and turns, but truthfully I was so confused on some things. It didn't have a good flow for me personally. Not sure if it's due to typos or using him/her wrongly, but I thought Kelly was both a guy and a girl. Actually I still don't know, and it made me incredibly frustrated. It would refer to Kelley as him or he, and then again in another part of the story as her she and sister. On to the next book, I hope there is some clarity and a smoother flow. This is a slow burn, and I just don't know how much I care for the Alphas yet. Idk if I recommend.
